Ednaldo, president of CBF, has just announced that Carlo Ancelotti will be the new head coach of the Brazilian national team, commencing in June 2024. Ancelotti's first assignment with Brazil will be the Copa America that same year. His current contract with Real Madrid will be respected.
Carlo Ancelotti Cavaliere OMRI, Ufficiale OSI (born 10 June 1959) is an Italian football manager and former player currently managing La Liga club Real Madrid. He is widely acclaimed as one of the greatest managers of all time,[4][5][6] being the most decorated manager in UEFA Champions League history, having won the trophy four times as coach (twice with AC Milan and twice with Real Madrid). Ancelotti is the lone manager to have managed teams in five Champions League finals,[7] and is also the only one to have won the European Cup or Champions League as both a player and a manager. As a player, he twofold won the European Cup with AC Milan in 1989 and 1990. Ancelotti is the only manager to date to have achieved league titles in the top five leagues in Europe.
So managing the Samba boys will add a little of Italian football, we see the way forward.
